Should I repair or replace my concrete driveway?
If the cracks are wide, the slab has sunk or heaved, or water pools against the house, the problem is usually the base underneath. Patching the surface will not fix that, so a full replacement is normally the better value. We will tell you what we see when we quote.
Can you replace an asphalt driveway with concrete?
Yes. We remove the asphalt, rebuild the base for concrete and pour a new concrete driveway. Mention the current surface in the project details.
Is there a minimum project size?
Yes. Magnum's concrete projects start at $8,000. We focus on full driveways, replacements and widenings rather than small repairs.
How long before I can drive on the new driveway?
Foot traffic is usually fine after 24 to 48 hours, and most driveways take passenger vehicles at around seven days. Keep heavy trucks and dumpsters off it for the first month while the concrete gains strength.
What affects the price of a replacement?
The size and layout, removal of the existing surface, site access, base preparation, drainage and the finish you choose. Request a detailed estimate for your property rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all price.
