A concrete driveway is only as good as what sits under it. We excavate to depth, build and compact a granular base that actually drains, and set forms to the finished grade before a single truck is called. Skip that and the slab cracks along the low spots no matter how good the mix is.
The pour is where Ontario winters get decided. We use an air-entrained mix specified for freeze-thaw and road salt, cut control joints at planned spacing so the slab relieves stress along a line you barely notice instead of across the middle, and cure it properly rather than walking away once it is troweled.
Most of what we pour is full driveways, widenings and larger installs, which is where our own crew and equipment earn their keep. Smaller pours get quoted too, and it is usually worth folding them in while we are already on site. Either way you get a line-itemed price up front, and the number we quote is the number you pay.
