Caledon lanes are long enough that the base decides everything. We build up and crown the whole run so water leaves at both edges, and pave deep enough for a plough blade, a propane truck and the occasional piece of farm equipment.
Half the work here is turning gravel into asphalt properly, which means regrading the run before anything is paved rather than laying a surface over a lane that has settled into ruts. We self-perform every stage, insured to $5M.
Mayfield West is the other Caledon — newer subdivisions where builder asphalt is already breaking at the edges. That is a rebuild, not a resurface, and we will say so rather than sell a layer that buys two winters.
We handle driveway paving across Caledon — including Caledon East, Mayfield West, Palgrave, Inglewood, and Alton, and the streets and properties around the Forks of the Credit, the Caledon Trailway, and the Cheltenham Badlands.
